170 nodes across three production halls, live and self-reporting.

How we replaced a leading automotive manufacturer's manual energy + water audits with a continuous-monitoring mesh that pays back in months — not years.

§01 — Challenge

The clipboard era.

The client's Plant 04 ran a monthly energy audit. Two engineers, three days, 100+ panels — and the data was already stale by the time it landed in a spreadsheet. Water tracking was worse: a quarterly read of bulk meters with no breakdown by hall.

The plant manager wanted three things: live numbers, leak alerts before the floor noticed, and a single screen for the morning standup. The existing SCADA touched only the boilers.

§04 — Outcome
"We saw the first leak alert at 3:14am — 90 minutes before the morning shift would have spotted the puddle. That single catch paid for the deployment."
